2/26/2020 0 Comments Week zero: 2/24/20 - 2/28/20Hi, it's Kimball and Mackenzie, the geniuses behind the Mocks-vegas Bakehouse. It's the first week of Genius Hour! This week we were not able to get together and make a sweet dessert, but we do have a pretty good plan on how we are going to do our project. We are going to tell you a lot about it! We have a ton of ideas for the upcoming weeks. Here they are...
We plan to either meet up and make a treat or make a treat separately. We will some times bake a cake and decorate it to improve our cake decorating skills. Also, we might create large batches of the treats, if they are good we will bring them in for the class to rate! Those treats will then be rated on a scale from 1- 5. On the scale, one is the worst meaning that you would never eat that item again, and five being the best, meaning that you could eat the treat everyday. You are probably wondering why we wanted to bake. This is why. We have wanted to get better at baking for a while now and this project gave us the purpose to bake. The project will keep us on track with improving our baking skills and we can't give up because this project is a major grade. Here is the real reason why...one day Mackenzie and I had a long talk about when we got older we would want to have kids. We kept talking about how we wanted to be the mom that everyone knew about because of how good our baking was. Then we thought about how neither of us have any baking experience, so our goal couldn't be made. Unless we started baking SOON! After we talked about this, our English teacher, Mr. Barker assigned Genius Hour. That is when we came up with the grand idea to bake! You can get easy access to our progress by following our Instagram @mocksvegas.bakehouse We would really appreciate if you would follow! :)
